A guild based on artwork
I was wondering if any of the artists out there would be interested
in forming a guild based on creating custom art for players in the game. --- ***I'm not recruiting i'm just collecting ideas*** ***and seeing if people would be interested.*** --- The guild would be custom drawers for players for a pre-set price of gold 'in-game'. I am currently taking orders for drawings by many people. If you are interested please post on this thread. If you *would* like to see how my custom drawing system works, you can ask me for any drawing that is non-$exual in nature on this thread and/or Pm my character of check out the Fanart section for a thread of the same name This would help me see the demand for costum work and assess the want/need for a Guild of Artists. --------------- Once I get either 5 responses of people who think it's a good idea, or 4 orders of custom work I'll make the guild. --------------- Any artists interested in this project can email me at [email protected] to discuss it further and send me samples of their work. After you get some input I suggest you move this to the Sell or Etc Forums then - and please make sure you don't do any recruiting.

Would you pool all of the gold made or something?> just wondering because otherwise it seems like a guild full of people who do their own thing (Hiny: NOT what a guild should be)

I was more thinking that we would share contacts for drawings and *cutomers* could view different kinds of art we post on a communal website. I'm just looking for ideas right now. Thanks for the imput! |

Good Idea. I started created "custom avatars" for our guild members who complete the Ascension.

Photoshop is not a tool to take lightly (not saying you are) but this THE premeir graphic tool. I have used it proffessionaly for over 10 years.
The Adobe web site is the best place to start. They have lots of tutorials and free "styles", "actions" and brush that make doing stuff a breeze. Other than that there are a series of book by Peachtree printing (i think) called the WOW photoshop. Very easy read with good stuff. But check the adobe site. |
